Production handoff notes

PBR channels

Use Base Color, Normal, Roughness, Height, and Ambient Occlusion. Wood is dielectric, so Metalness is not part of the exported set.

Real-world scale

Use the board, block, or end-grain layout as the scale cue; match UVs to visible plank width or panel size in the scene.

Software handoff

Keep Base Color in sRGB and data maps linear. In Unreal or Unity, check normal map import settings before assigning the material.

Current limits

The output is a seamless wood material set, not modeled joinery; bevels, grooves, board gaps, and displacement depth remain scene setup choices.

How to generate this texture

  1. 1

    Open the generator

Open this material in the matching online texture generator from the texture page.

  2. 2

    Tune the parameters

Adjust scale, colors, structure, and surface wear until the material fits your scene.

  3. 3

    Change the seed

Set a new seed to generate unlimited seamless variations of the same texture.

  4. 4

    Export PBR maps

Export base color, normal, roughness, height, and ambient occlusion maps as PNG, ZIP, MaterialX, or glTF.
